The Combat Claws are one of the many reasons the yeerk are ill-advised to mess with Rachel. Or to even try to mess with her for that matter. The fore-paws of her lion morph comes fully equipped with these tools of destruction, and though it is unclear what differentiates these claws from what can be found at the tip of any other lion's digits, the feline fury they presumably unleash is what Rachel believes is instrumental in saving her world.

- Part of the first wave of Animorphs toys, Rachel transforms from a human who [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Catgirl|{{#if:watches too much anime|watches too much anime|Catgirl}}]] into a (male) lion, as well as a transitional third mode combining features from both. Her lion mode front claws, or "Combat Claws", are separate pieces that attach like gloves.
Notes
[edit]- Though Rachel's packaging artwork shows four large digits on each of her lion morph's paws, as is consistent with how a normal lion's paws are, the toy's front paws have five large digits each.
