Compu-Core

One ugly McGuffin.

The Compu-Core is the counterpart to Vector Sigma on Skalorr in Xobitor universal streams. Through a method that utilizes the essence of living beings, it grants sparks to Terrakors and Protectons.

Spacewarp's Log

[edit]

After finding herself on Skalorr, Spacewarp became mired in the conflict between the natives. She was preparing to leave when the Compu-Core began to spark and smoke, prompting her to help the Protectons journey to a nearby lab to garner the materials necessary to repair the damaged supercomputer. Spacewarp's Log (2), 2016/01/23 This led to several more adventures, but eventually, with the help of a crystalline circuit sphere, the Compu-Core was restored to full functionality and she was able to leave the planet with a clean conscience. Notes

[edit]
  • Compu-Core was one of the big MacGuffins from the Robotix series.
  • The "crystalline circuit sphere" used to repair it bears a striking resemblance to the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. Given the ties the Compu-Core has to Vector Sigma, this is surely no coincidence.
  • The first instance of the Compu-Core in Transformers fiction, in The AllSpark Almanac II, was rendered as "Compu-core". This was corrected in Spacewarp's Log, thanks to author Jim Sorenson obtaining production materials for the original Robotix cartoon while writing Spacewarp's Log.
