Copperhead

Copperhead is a Cobra-aligned human from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

On the surface, one would think that Copperhead is nothing more than an adrenaline junkie who gets his fix through boat racing. This would be a fair assessment, as he is quite skilled as a pilot and is intimately familiar with much of the Florida Everglades. But in reality, Copperhead's true addiction is gambling; he started betting on himself in races, and eventually went slithering to Cobra to pay his debts. He's now the commander of Cobra's Water Moccasin fleet and sometimes leader of their Python Patrol special forces team.

After the Joes had stormed Cobra Island and foiled a plot by Cobra to control several Transformers as their personal war machines, Copperhead was taken into custody by Mercer and Sci-Fi. G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers #6

Copperhead attended a feast at Decepticon headquarters on Cybertron in celebration of Cobra making the alien planet their new home following the destruction of Earth. Earth: R.I.P.
