[edit]

During a dark period in Praxus' history, criminals outnumbered law enforcement, with the ruling council developing the core overrides to enforce law. Having lived through these events, Prowl was deeply ashamed of them.

In the waning days of the Great War, after Jetfire had defected to the Autobots, he submitted himself to a core override to earn the trust of the Autobots as he led them through the Sea of Rust, which the Autobots reluctantly agreed to. When they reached the region, Jetfire saved Prowl from a metallic vortex. In gratitude, the Praxian gave the Jetfire the control for the override only for the former Decepticon to insist that Prowl keep it for the sake of the mission. Siege episode 5
