Custodiobot

The Custodiobot is a drone from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

"If an item does not appear in our records, it does not exist!"

The Custodiobot appears to be in sole charge of the Hall of Records on Cybertron. He doesn't get out much, which may go some way towards explaining his impatient, anti-social manner towards visitors.

When Daniel Witwicky and Wheelie visited the Hall of Records to find out Ultra Magnus's date of construction, they were met by the Custodiobot, who demanded to know who they were and what they wanted. Unfortunately, information pertaining to the date of Magnus's construction was unavailable, being held on an artificial storage asteroid. The Custodiobot happily provided the pair with the asteroid's last known coordinates, as there was no way that they'd be able to get a ship to take them there anyway.

A while later, Ultra Magnus and Spike Witwicky paid the Hall of Records a visit, looking for Spike's son, and the Custodiobot told them he'd given Daniel and Wheelie information about the storage asteroid. Surprise Party

Wings Universe

Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.

The Custodiobot was interviewed by Rook on Around Cybertron, but would only give annoyingly literal answers. Around Cybertron #15

Notes

• The name "Custodiobot" is never used onscreen, only in the script.
• It's unknown whether "Custodiobot" is actually a proper noun, since it always appears in all-caps in the script. It's also unclear whether this character is the Custodiobot or simply a Custodiobot.
