Cybertron Archives
The Cybertron Archives are situated in Cybertropolis on Cybertron. Stored within the tall building are backup files for each member of the population. In front of the entrance stands a large statue of Optimus Prime holding up two Golden Disks. In case that isn't enough, there are also the images of two Golden Disks embossed into the main doors.

[edit]The Maximals paid a visit to the Cybertron Archives in order to find out what had happened to Cybertron's missing population. They were confronted by a legion of Tank Drones, which destroyed the statue in front of the Archives before moving on to the Maximals. Optimus Primal, Cheetor and Blackarachnia fought them, buying Rattrap time to find the data they were looking for. Alas, when Rattrap rejoined them, it was only with the news that every single file in the Archives had been wiped clean. Devastated, Optimus ordered the team to flee. Fires of the Past

- Writer Bob Skir has said that neither the Optimus Prime statue nor the golden disks in its hands were mentioned the script. However, he suggested that they were either the disks from the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 probes, or that Optimus won them in the 2,395,989th Annual Cybertronian spelling bee.<ref>Q&A from Bigbot's "bobskir.com" (archive copy)</ref>
- It is unknown if this facility has any relationship to the Cybertropolis Maximal Data Archive that appeared in "Theft of the Golden Disk".
