[edit]Clawtrap had a device that tracked the energy signatures of Cybertronian equipment, aiding the Scavengers in their pursuit of lost treasure on Earth. It led them (and their reluctant Weaponizer allies) to the Dark Star Saber. Mighty Big Trouble
While fleeing from an overwhelming number of Autobots, the Stunticon Heatseeker stumbled across a similar device just sticking out of the ground by an abandoned gas station. He wasted no time in collecting it, realizing it would give him a good excuse when Motormaster asked why he was back at base so early; Motormaster was skeptical but quickly realised the possibilities such a device presented. When Drag Strip decided that he and Wildbreak should pursue promotion to Motormaster's Chief Lieutenants, he took the "whatchamacallit" ("showing initiative" instead of asking permission to do so) and they set out to see what they could find. What they could find turned out to be one of Windblade's caches in a self-storage joint in West Rock, Bee Cool and Drag Strip went on to locate and raid other caches later. The Great Divide
The Stunticons' device was later confiscated by the Autobots, and was used by Fixit to locate Steeljaw's Pack due to their new weapons. Exiles
Notes
[edit]- Clawtrap's device is steel gray in color, while the one the Stunticons, and later Autobots, acquire is a fetching shade of mustard.
- The device appears to possess only a two-dimensional display, although it's reasonable to assume Drag Strip might not be entirely familiar with its use.
