Cyberwraith

Cyberwraiths are venomous parasitic lifeforms native to the Dead Universe, capable of phasing through a Transformer's body to reach and feed on their spark. Fully grown wraiths are gigantic, much larger than the average Transformer, and are known to devour their own offspring.

During his studies of the Dead Universe, Brainstorm got ahold of a young cyberwraith cadaver which he kept in his lab. Rules of Disengagement When pressed to find a way to survive in the Dead Universe, he used the wraith's venom to invent a forcefield that would cause the malevolent dimension to mistake the user for a native lifeform. Upon using these devices to enter the Dead Universe, Orion Pax, Rodimus and Hardhead were set upon by hungry adult cyberwraiths, attracted by their forcefields. The three Autobots were nearly overcome by their size and numbers, but the monsters turned tail and fled upon seeing Cyclonus, a former Dead Universe resident. Black Metal
