Gabu, Baru and Dai arrived in the studio to show off their Super Combo Weapon mode, the Dark Matter Calibur. They then promptly cut large gashes in the set (scaring Guru and Zori who had been hiding behind the door). O.P., B.B., and R.A. arrived in their Star Saber mode to try and stop the carnage, but one swipe of the Calibur forced them to separate. Adhesive Transformation!? Magnetic Tag Match Still combined, Gabu, Baru and Dai then fell asleep, giving O.P., B.B., and R.A. a chance to plan a different strategy. Exploration Transformation! After Dark Energon caused Gabu, Baru, and Dai to be reborn as "Shadow" versions of themselves, they no longer combined into the Dark Matter Calibur, but the Dark Energon Saber. Prophetic Transformation! A Message from Beyond Time

The Dark Matter Calibur is a massive sword formed by combining Arms Microns Gabu, Baru, and Dai, each available as unassembled, unpainted individual "kits" in the first assortment of Arms Micron Weapon series toys. Gabu and Baru form the sword's blade, while Dai forms the hilt.
While the trio were released at normal retail in late July of 2012, they were made available for sale early at TakaraTomy's booth at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair Summer '12 in Fukuoka, Japan, on June 30 and July 1. People who bought all three got a free Autobot Firebolt Clear Yellow Version as a bonus.
These Microns were later redecoed into the Dark Energon Saber.

Notes

[edit]
  • "Calibur" (カリバー or キャリバー) is derived from "Excalibur", and is a suffix often used for sword names in Japanese media (such as [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Soulcalibur|{{#if:||Soulcalibur}}]]).
