Dave Brain is an animator and director. After earning a BFA at the Chouinard Art Institute, he entered into animation in 1965, working at Disney as an inbetweener on The Jungle Book. Since, he has worked for Disney, Marvel Productions, Hanna Barbera, Warner Bros. and Universal Studios, on shows as varied as Duck Tales, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cow and Chicken, Batman Beyond, Hot Wheels and Grim & Evil. He served five terms on the Animation Guild's executive board. He retired from the business in 2007, and now both teaches animation and writes books on the subject.
