- Decimus's assistant is the senator’s faithful right-hand man from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
For all the flaws in personality Senator Decimus may have, you've got to hand him one thing: he picked his assistant with care. Decimus's assistant is competent, empathic, quick to act, loyal, aware of his place, intelligent, and probably can bake a great oil cake.

Decimus's assistant travelled with his boss to Mining Outpost C-12 to personally inform the workers there they were going to be replaced. He voiced his dislike of the situation, pointing out the reactions wouldn't be good, but Decimus assured him all would be well.
As Decimus spoke to the assembled crowd, his assistant stood quietly by his side until one of the miners, angry for the murder on a colleague of his, tossed his axe into Decimus's shoulder. The assistant was quick to offer him protection and support, ordering the guards in the senator's stead.
Later, when the revolt had been beaten down and everyone was safely back on the ships, he spent his time on tending the senator's injuries. Megatron Origin #1
