While taking in Earth's beauty after reawakening, Optimus Prime accidentally stepped on a deer, crushing it. Optimus was horrified, regretting that he should have been more careful, but Spike Witwicky reassured him that it was an accident. Transformers #2 Optimus subsequently buried the deer.
