The Defense Minister (国防部长 Guófáng Bùzhǎng) is a high-ranking military official in China, affiliated with the People's Liberation Army.

The Defense Minister was in Beijing when Lockdown arrived and started causing devastation in Hong Kong. As he exited a building with his colleagues and staff, he stated that the Chinese central government had dispatched jets in defense of Hong Kong. Age of Extinction
