The Destrons are a faction from the Animated continuity family.

The Destrons were a Cybertronian faction involved in the Third Cybertronian War. They spoke a language also known as Destron.

Under the leadership of Devron, the Destrons—formed out of several factions, including the once-proud Malignus—defeated the brutal Protectobots in the Third Cybertronian War. The peace remained uneasy. The Autobots would later displace the Protectobots and rise to power, and at the end of the Age of Expansion the Destrons felt they were doing all the work of defending the Autobot Commonwealth for too few benefits.
