In the mid-19th century C.E., Doomwings was one of a number of Decepticons under the command of Starscream. Teaming up with a cadre of Dire Wraiths, the alliance launched a sneak attack on Orchid Crossing in the hopes of stealing the Solstar Order's energon synthesizer. Shining Armor #1

While Ultra Magnus and Bumblebee were preoccupied with battling a monstrous Dire Wraith/Cybertronian hybrid that had once been Sky Blast, Starscream and Doomwings tried to steal the energon synthesizer. Doomwings didn't get far before the monstrous chimaera grabbed him and ripped him in half. Shining Armor #2

  • Doomwings is a straight transplant of the character (for given value of "character") of the same name from 2012's Transformers Online video game. Notably, he only received his English name over the course of Ask Vector Prime; he and his teammate Ursa Major are the first instances of Ask Vector Prime bleeding into a "mainstream" Transformers story.
