Dwight Jon Zimmerman

Dwight Jon Zimmerman is an American author. He started his career at Marvel Comics in 1977, as a writer and editor. The comics he worked on include Marvel Comics Presents, Pirates of Dark Water, and the promotional magazine Marvel Age. In 1992, he was hired as executive editor of Topps Comics and worked on their Mars Attacks, The X-Files and Xena comics. When the comic book industry suffered a slump in the late 90s, he instead ventured into the field of book publishing. These days he is better known as a military history author, and is president of the Military Writers Society of America and a radio host on Veterans Radio Network.
