Ed Pirrie is a British illustrator. A longtime participant in the Transformers fan conventions Auto Assembly and TFNation, Pirrie eventually made his official Transformers debut with IDW Publishing on works written by fellow Brits John-Paul Bove and later Brian Ruckley.
Outside of licensed work, Pirrie notably collaborated with Jim Sorenson and Chris McFeely for the Animated graphic novel "Trial and Error" for TFNation 2017 and also contributed illustrations to the semi-official presentation of "Trial of Megatron" at TFNation 2019.

[edit]Notes
[edit]- He designed an original Carnivac model sheet for an online fan project that specifically incorporated details from a myriad of the character's varied appearances in Marvel comic stories. Jorge Corona, the regular artist of the Skybound Transformers comic, evidently found it in a Google image search and mistook it for official art to reference, using the design in an actual issue. A big fan of the character, Ed was actually flattered and grateful for the mishap.<ref> https://bsky.app/profile/edpirrie.bsky.social/post/3lrl2yxll222k</ref>
