Electro-Magnetic Refracture

Electro-Magnetic Refracture is a technique used for traveling safely in desolate regions of space. Well, theoretically, anyways. By creating an Electro-Magnetic Refraction shield a ship can travel near black holes, or other dangerous gravitational tides, safely.

Captain Cannonball entrusted Ferak with coming up with a way to venture near several black holes in the Unknown Sector safely. Ferak's solution was to have the Dread Pirate Crew's fliers fly in tow rings around the ship, each spinning in an opposite direction, in order to nullify the gravity fields. Though the Electro-Magnetic Refracture worked, the ride was still bumpy, and several of the fliers were lost in the process. Not enough of them were left to make a return trip through the field of black holes, and so Ferak had to come up with an alternate solution afterwards. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur
