Electronet Launcher

The Electronet Launcher belongs to Autobot Smokescreen, and is a fitting complement to his favored phase shifter. Just as the shifter makes Smokescreen impermeable to matter, the launcher generates a shadow field that makes him almost impossible to see or target. Because the net is also electrified, it delivers a powerful bioelectric shock when it's fired from the launcher, and it can be made rigid enough for the net-launcher combo to be used as a makeshift axe.

[edit]- Smokescreen (Deluxe, 2013)
- Series / Number: 2 / 008
- Accessories: Launcher, missile, & Electronet (combine to form Electronet Launcher), Shadow Quill Armor
- Part of the second wave of Prime: Beast Hunters Deluxe Class toys, Smokescreen wields the "Electronet Launcher", a spring-loaded missile launcher that fires a missile with a soft, removable net. The launcher can mount on the roof of his vehicle mode via its 5mm handle, and the net itself has a tab on one side and a slot on the other, allowing it to be rolled up, with some effort, and stored on a hexagonal peg located on the robot mode's back. Also, the launcher component features a trio of grooves all over its body for some currently unknown purpose.
- His packaging stock photography depicts his Electronet and armor as being cast in a mixture of blue and red plastic, but the final product has these cast only in metallic blue.
- The Electronet Launcher was redecoed, without the Electronet, into Prowl's Firelance Missile Launcher.
