Energy Road

Energy Road is a highway from the Victory portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

It's been a long road, getting from there to here.

Energy Road is a major road crossing the United States of America. Its sole user is a giant truck, tasked with delivering huge quantities of high-efficiency energy to an energy pool in the western USA.

The only mystery here is why the Decepticons haven't targeted it before.

When God Ginrai and Star Saber were put out of action by Deathsaurus, the Decepticons saw this as their signal to strike the truck on Energy Road. The Dinoforce with Leozack and Hellbat set out to ambush the tractor-trailer. When the Autobots got wind of it and dispatched the Multiforce to investigate. The Dinoforce attacked the truck, but were intercepted by the Multiforce, who rescued the truck drivers. In their respective combiner forms of Landcross and Dinoking, the two teams battled. Dinoking threw one of the energy cylinders from the truck at Landcross and detonated it. Soon, even the addition of Laster and Braver to the Autobot side weren't enough, and the Decepticons gained the upper hand.

Then help arrived in the form of Victory Leo, the rebuilt form of God Ginrai. He swiftly trounced the Decepticons, and when Dinoking tried to repeat his earlier trick with an energy cylinder, Victory Leo blew it up while he was still holding it. The Decepticons rapidly retreated with their tails between their legs and the truck presumably resumed normal services. Fight!! Victory Leo
