Entertainment UK

Entertainment UK is a home video distribution company in the UK currently owned by [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Woolworths Group|{{#if:Woolworths|Woolworths|Woolworths Group}}]]. They were originally founded by [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}EMI|{{#if:||EMI}}]] in 1966 as Record Merchandisers Limited before being sold to the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Kingfisher plc|{{#if:Kingfisher Group|Kingfisher Group|Kingfisher plc}}]] in 1986, and changing their name to Entertainment UK in 1988.

They released a single VHS of the Generation 1 Transformers cartoon under their children's branch Starvision. This tape was later repackaged and released by [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}PolyGram|{{#if:PolyGram Video|PolyGram Video|PolyGram}}]] in 1991 under the banner of The Fun House, distributed by Entertainment UK.

In 2001, Entertainment UK was sold on to the Woolworths Group, who went into [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Administration (law)|{{#if:administration|administration|Administration (law)}}]] in 2008.
