- Ernesto Jiménez is a human from Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Ernesto Jiménez is a Hispanic-American resident of Rockville, Colorado. (Lori calling him "papa", and he, in turn, calling her, "mija".) A real estate developer, he is married to Gloria and has at least two children: a daughter, Lori (who he's very protective of), and a son. He and his family previously lived in a city, before moving to their current home in the country.

Ernesto was a businessman specializing in housing redevelopment. Hidden He moved his family to Rockville for peace and quiet away from the big city. Fallen He enjoyed learning about the big outdoors, and started using a telescope to watch the stars, although he had trouble finding Betelgeuse. Speed
Like any true patriot, Ernesto was completely unperturbed about being whisked away in the middle of the night by a clandestine arm of the military. After all, it was for the good of the country, right? Invasion He did show concern that his daughter and her friends could be in some sort of danger, though. Retreat
Ernesto had great difficulty believing his daughter Lori when she finally confessed her involvement with the Transformers. Despite the legion of alien robot invaders that had filled Earth's skies days ago, and the giant space portal into a black hole floating over their heads, he thought her story was nothing but fantasy. Ernesto only changed his tune when Optimus Prime and the Autobots transformed right before his eyes. Hearing that his daughter was needed on their mission to other dimensions due to her flexible mind, Ernesto demanded to accompany his daughter. He insisted his mind was just as flexible as hers until Robert Hansen pointed out what a bunch of close-minded numbnuts they had been just two minutes ago. Reluctantly, Ernesto allowed Lori to go on the mission without him. Family

End He was initially caught off-guard after hearing that Lori and Coby Hansen were dating, thundering that his daughter wasn't supposed to start dating until after he was dead!
