Ernie is a human from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Ernie is Loren Fortean's cameraman. He is really good at getting blurry and obscured footage for Beyond the Mysterious Unknown with Loren Fortean.

Ernie was able to take footage of something Fortean believed was a Yeti, but was actually the Decepticon Abominus. He later managed to miss filming a "family of Yeti" scaling Mount Everest, but got footage of distant lasers resulting from Drift's encounter with a turret. As Fortean got into an argument with their guide Brigadier Wilson, Ernie made a brief unsuccessful attempt to mediate. They continued on, and though Ernie didn't successfully get footage of a Yeti, they did auto-record something they believed was a Yeti instructing them to leave the mountain (actually Sideswipe yelling).
