Ethos raiding party

The Ethos raiding party is a second generation Cybertronian Empire Decepticon unit from the Marvel Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The "Ethos raiding party" consists of the crème de la crème of the Cybertronian army. They die just as easily as the rest, though.

Frankly, maybe these dudes are only one tenth of the Cybertronians' best forces, but what are the odds of "decimated" for once being used correctly?

On a mission which main goal was to provoke the Autobots from hiding, the party was sent on an eco-structuring marathon. This brought them to the peaceful planet Ethos, where they left nothing unwrecked in their search for natives to kill. This went on until only a group of five Ethosians had managed to survive; Shortly before a Cybertronian squad could execute them, the Autobots finally arrived.

A brutal battle between Autobots and Cybertronians followed, in which many Cybertronians met their end, but also the Autobots Ironhide, Smokescreen, and Inferno. In all, the Autobots were faring worse, and they would have been utterly destroyed if not for the arrival of the Decepticons, who had been looking out for a chance to get revenge on the Cybertronian Empire. Escalation!

A short time later, Jhiaxus came to inspect the scene of defeat. At most, he was mildly annoyed by the collective death of his best troops, probably because as far as numbers go, the loss was a small one. Swarm
