I've always wondered, why make Unicron a tank? It just doesn't fit. If anything, it looks more like a Unicron Cultist. -- Hunter-113 00:38, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Why not? Also, you try and sell a toy to a soccer mom that has the word "Cultist" on the label.
I understand giving Unicron a new body so he would be less expensive and not just be a repaint of his Armada toy, but I just don't see Unicron as a Tank. Perhaps something else that symbolises hunger in some way. And I never meant that the Toy should've been named Unicron Cultist, I'm just saying the toy reminds me of it. -- Hunter-113 01:33, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
I dunno if it's a straight-forward tank, so much as it's a mechanical flesh-eating bug of some sort, what with the legs and mandibles, but with some tank-like features like treads and a turret on it. --ItsWalky 01:55, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Like Walky said while I was writing this (grr), the suggestion of spider-legs and mandibles makes me think of a predator... I could imagine that tank gobbling stuff up in some fashion.
In fanficky terms, after I saw Call of the Primitives, I started to think of Uni as having been at one point the size of a regular TF, like the rest of Primacron's creations. He just had the capacity to ingest any kind of matter and add it to his own body-mass. I figured Primacron hadn't meant for that to be an unlimited ability, but once Unicron got started, there was no stopping him. Spidery-tank Uni fits that idea nicely, so I'm pretty keen to him.

He's a tank. I think the only reason people didn't howl is because they're so profoundly sick of Unicron.
Hey Walky, do you know anyone who owns every Roller mold? G1, WST, Hybrid, Masterpiece? I'd love one picture of them all lined up together for Roller's article. The scale alone would be awesome. -Derik 02:01, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
