Derik talks a good game, but he's really a big softy that goes all squooshy inside at the sight of kittens or Emo Boys kissing. They're not just doing it for attention!
Derik can't spell woth a danm. Did you know Mozilla 2.0 has MS Word-style spell check on textarea boxes?
He can sometimes be found late at night making long chains of minor edits to template pages. Derik doesn't do this at night to be considerate to other people- he just likes to delude himself into thinking he can do something quickly before going to bed, and then skips sleep.

- #tag: syntax - Using template-parameters inside of XML parser commands (like <imagemap>) causes it to break. This is the (somewhat finicky) workaround. (It's actually a parser function that causes the params to be parsed prior to passing them to the XML command.) Any |'s will have to be escaped using {{!}}
