On the rare occasions when Fireflight can make it to a battle without being distracted by pretty scenery, he uses his fire-fog missiles against his Decepticon foes. When they detonate, they release a highly flammable mist.

In the real world, these are known as [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}thermobaric weapon|{{#if:||thermobaric weapon}}]]s, also known as fuel-air bombs, and their detonation can rival small nuclear weapons.

In jet mode, Fireflight could shoot missiles that exploded and released a mist of highly flammable liquid he called "fire-fog". Fireflight's Universe profile

When a dogfight between Fireflight and Dirge accidentally triggered a rockslide, Fireflight used his fire-fog missiles to obliterate the boulders before any humans were injured. Aerialbots over America!

The Transformers Fireflight was armed with fire-fog missiles, according to his packaging bio.
This toy was also available as part of a Superion giftset and was reissued as part of the European/Australian Classics line. Additionally, in 1990 Fireflight was offered as a mail-away by Weetabix breakfast cereal in the UK alongside the Stunticon Drag Strip.
