Fire Beast

Fire Beast is a Decepticon Action Master partner from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Fire Beast is Charger's Action Master partner. He's kind of a jerk. The kind of jerk who'll melt your face off if you let him.

Charger and Fire Beast somehow appeared at the interdimensional hub known as the Axiom Nexus and were seen waiting to be "processed". Transcendent: Part 1

2019 IDW continuity

[edit]

Fire Beast and Charger hired themselves out as deniable mercenaries to the likes of Swindle. When they were sent with Bumblebee to rescue Elita-1 from Decepticon custody, the pair demonstrated their distinct form of teamwork by combining; while Charger was unable to transform due to the events on board the Iron Hope, Fire Beast could still form flamethrowing armor for his partner. As the guards escorting Elita came close, Charger and Fire Beast made a dramatic entrance through a wall, burning and battering Jolt while Bumblebee and Elita took care of Ravage and Barricade, the latter a guard Bumblebee held a grudge against. Charger encouraged Bumblebee to finish their enmity permanently, but Bumblebee ultimately refused to kill Barricade. Charger and Fire Beast stuck by Bee's decision, but melted Barricade's gun hand off to ensure their safe escape. Swindle's II

The Transformers

[edit]
  • Charger with Fire Beast (1991)
Released in the seventh year of the European-market Transformers toyline (the first year following the end of the US line), Fire Beast transforms from a robotic rhinoceros into a backpack/battle helmet compatible with any standard Action Master figure. His back-mounted double-barreled cannon can detach and be used as a hand-held weapon by Action Master figures.
He was only available with his partner Charger.
As part of the European-only portion of Transformers, Charger and Fire Beast can go for some pretty hefty prices on the secondary market.
