Fireball cannon
Fireball cannons are powerful ranged weapons carried by the Protectobot Hot Spot and also used by the Protectobots' combined form Defensor.

In the "Slimepit" area of the human video game Multi-World, Onslaught ambushed Hot Spot by blasting him with his sonic stun-gun but Hot Spot retaliated, fusing Onslaught with a fireball. Later, Defensor defeated Megatron by blasting the bridge they were both standing on with a fireball. Afterdeath! During a subsequent battle in a rail yard in northern California, Defensor shot Bruticus several times with his fireball cannon. Child's Play

- The Transformers Hot Spot came with two black guns, identified as fireball cannons in his instructions and packaging bio.
- This toy was also available in a Defensor giftset and was released as part of the European/Australian Classics line in 1991. This mold was also used to make Fire Chief.
