Firebot is an Autobot-allied Mini-Con from the Generation 1 and Unicron Trilogy continuity families.

Firebot is a member of the Night Rescue Team. If he is ever afraid he never shows it, and charges headlong into dangerous situations unflinchingly whenever the call to action arises. He is never one to complain either, despite the fact that he is often the one pulling his comrades out of the fire, both figuratively and literally. Though his twin hydro-cannons are usually used extinguish fires, their pressurized jets pack quite a punch, able to knock even full-sized Decepticons flat.<ref>Firebot's profile in Club magazine #16</ref>

Along with his Mini-Con brethren, Firebot was created by the Last Autobot to clean up the ravaged planet Cybertron in time for the Autobots' return. The Night Rescue Team came to the rescue when an energon refinery suddenly exploded, and Firebot courageously rushed into the flaming inferno to look for survivors. After carrying one Mini-Con out, he immediately went back in, and thus missed the drama regarding a crazed Autobot supposedly having caused the explosion.

Firebot and his fellow team members were subsequently invited by Hacksaw to a meeting to discuss the accident, but he didn't add much to the conversation. Following the meeting, the Night Rescue Team was ordered to keep watch and organize cleanup alongside Knockdown and Terrorsaur.

When it turned out that Broadside had orchestrated the accident in an attempt to keep the Autobots away from "their" world, a riot broke out among the Mini-Cons. Firebot fired his powerful water cannons at Broadside, but they were deflected by Wide Load. The New World

In Aurex 615.03 Epsilon, Firebot was one of many Autobot-aligned Mini-Cons who were dispatched aboard the Hyperion to the Beast Wars in Alpha Q's universe. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/23

Part of the first wave of Classics Mini-Cons, Firebot transforms into a Rosenbauer Oshkosh Striker 1500 fire truck with twin cab-mounted water cannons. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket that allows him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.
He was only available in a three-pack with his teammates Divebomb and Strongarm.
This mold was also used to make Suppressor and Buckshot.
