The AllSpark Mutation originally was a car belonging to one of the workers that dug up the AllSpark Cube in Nevada in 1913. When Jetfire arrived at the site, he reached out for the Cube and accidentally triggered a life-giving surge that hit various machines nearby, among which was the car. Its brethren lived for maybe half an hour before dying at the hands of humans, but the car escaped. Irreplaceable Some twenty years later, the AllSpark Mutation was in his car mode when Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow picked him as their getaway vehicle. The AllSpark Mutation took an instant liking to them, transforming and shooting a cop when he tried to arrest them.

After returning to carmode, the AllSpark Mutation didn't show signs of life for two days. As Clyde tried his best to get the car to transform again, Bonnie dryly noted that while the car was a good ally, it was a shame it didn't have windows and a hood to better suit their needs. The AllSpark Mutation responded to this by stealing the cover from the car next to it. Bonnie and Clyde were impressed and took the car with them when they attempted to get their accomplice, W. D. Jones, out of the prison in Eastham. The AllSpark Mutation's support would have made the operation a cinch were it not for the presence of Sector Seven agents Roy Thompson and Margaret Simmons. Simmons badly injured Bonnie, which deeply angered the AllSpark Mutation. Its attempt to massacre the prison personnel was prevented only because it was shot with a Sector Seven weapon designed to short out robotic lifeforms. However, though it could no longer fight, it could still serve as a getaway car for Clyde and the freed prisoners.

Some time later, Clyde had to deal with the lack of gratitude of the prisoners, who feared they'd be executed for their escape. One prisoner even went so far as to state they were already dead, just like Bonnie. The AllSpark Mutation killed him for that remark and set out to rescue Bonnie based on a suspicious map he had found. Clyde went with him, despite his concern about the trap they were obviously walking into, remarking that he didn't want to spent the rest of his life behind bars.

When they reached Bonnie's location, they were greeted by more cops than they could possibly handle. The AllSpark Mutation opened fire, killing Bonnie and causing Clyde to be killed. Badly injured himself, the AllSpark Mutation explained that this was the only way he could spare them a life in jail. Voicing his regret, the AllSpark Mutation was put out of its misery by Simmons with the Sector Seven weapon. Together

In other realities, the Mutation survived and would take the name "Flathead", eventually becoming a minor Decepticon. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/14

Notes

[edit]
  • He bears some resemblance to Hubcap from the 2010 Transformers toyline .
  • The name "Flathead" probably comes from the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Flathead engine|{{#if:||Flathead engine}}]] widely used in the early automotive industry.
