Established in 1986 in London, UK, Framestore (briefly known as Framestore CFC after their aqucision of fellow British company Computer Film Company in 1998) is a visual effects and animation company best known for their work in the film and television sectors. Their credits include Walking with Dinosaurs, the Harry Potter franchise, the Paddington films, Gravity, The Dark Knight, the His Dark Materials HBO series, and several entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Relevant to the Transformers franchise, the studio would purchase visual effects house Method Studios (and by proxy Atomic Fiction) in 2020. Method would be the ones responsible for handling additional VFX work for Industrial Light & Magic on Transformers: Age of Extinction, primarily during the highway chase against Galvatron and several shots aboard the Knight Ship. Method would also contribute to the follow up in an undocumented capacity.

Years later, Framestore themselves would utilize the movie IP (with ILM's help again) in their "Collector" campaign for Sky. Which would feature Megatron, oddly in his Revenge of the Fallen body, being one of the victims of the campaign's trademark portal in one ad.
