Frannie
- Frannie is a human from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Frannie lives in a small country town in Wyoming with her partner Jake. As aggressive and egotistical as he is, as calm and compassionate is she. While this might sound like a bad match, they actually go together like [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}yin and yang|{{#if:||yin and yang}}]]. Frannie provides Jake with the support and stability his volatile character needs. Frannie is, however, not without limits, and when Jake truly goes too far, one determined word by her is guaranteed to pull him right back in line.

[edit]While backing his car out into the street, Jake collided with a blue van, his prized car, bought only a month ago, taking some damage to its rear bumper. As Jake yelled various threats at the van, Frannie pointed out it was only a little scratch the car had suffered. Jake refused to see reason and ordered her in the car so they could follow the culprit.
The chase went on for several miles, but the two were stopped by two soldiers in a jeep and held at gunpoint when they tried to follow the van (and its friends) after it had entered a military encampment unauthorized. Jake, backed up by Frannie, tried to explain he had not intended to trespass. They were eventually allowed to leave. Command Performances!

Some time later, Jake, accompanied by Frannie, brought his car in for repairs at Bob's Service, where they crossed paths with the mysterious blue van again. Jake immediately resumed pursuit, which went even worse than last time. After witnessing the van perform several physics defying stunts to get away from Jake's attacks, Frannie suggested they'd return to the garage, but Jake didn't listen until green paint on the windshield took away his choice in the matter.
After dropping the car off at Bob's, Frannie and Jake went to the Rainbow Diner for a meal. Despite Frannie's objection to the topic, Jake rattled on about the van and how it seemed to have a life of its own (something another patron found an interesting observation). Frannie and Jake went to Bob's the next day to pick up the car, where miraculously the van showed up again. Jake urged Frannie to get in the car and followed the van to an abandoned gold mining town a few miles away. When the two drivers got out, Jake sneaked towards the van with tire iron and smashed its windshield, ignoring Frannie's protests. When the drivers returned, however, Frannie took Jake's side as usual. That is, until Ravage entered the scene and attacked the van. Jake again told Frannie to get in the car, but this time, she wouldn't budge; If he was not going to stay and help the very people he had caused to be stranded, she would. Jake obeyed, driving his car without hesitation into Ravage and doing it a whole lot more damage then just a teensy scratch. This gave Skids enough time to recover and defeat the Decepticon. As all calmed down again in the ghost town, Frannie and Jake came back up to see off Jake's one time nemesis. Showdown!
