Frizzle Fry is a member of the Swag Stylers from BotBots.
Hi-temp hi-top.

Frizzle Fry is a literal hothead. It takes so very little to set him off, causing his temper and temperature to reach explosive levels. His usual reaction is to blast whoever or whatever's annoying him with super-hot air.

I do believe in Captain Crunch.
  • Blind Bag Mystery Figures (Single pack, 2019)
  • Series: 2
  • Level: 1 Star / 2 Stars (see notes)
Part of the second series of BotBots, Frizzle Fry transforms from robot to an electric hair dryer.
He is available in the blindpacked single-bot packages. He comes 1 to a case of 24, like everyone else in the assortment. The only notable difference between the single-pack and multi-pack release (see below) is that the single-pack has production number stamping, where the multi-pack version does not.
This mold was also going to be used to make Zapfire, but that figure was canceled.

  • Swag Stylers (8-pack, 2019)
  • Series: 2
  • Level: 1 Star / 2 Stars
Frizzle Fry was also made available in two different "Swag Stylers"-themed 8-packs:
The first pack includes him, Brock Head, Chic Cheeks, Grumpy Clumpy, Nope Soap, Scribby, Songwave, and Lost Bot Love Struck.
The second pack includes him, Big Botti, Bogus Pocus, Brotato, Lolly Mints, Prince Perfumius, TP Itch, and Lost Bot Abominable Soundman.
Both of these packs are "recommended minimum buys" for a complete set of Series 2 BotBots. So yeah, you'll end up with two of him.

Notes

[edit]
  • Frizzle Fry is the "example" character used for the "2 MODES" demonstration illustration on the Swag Stylers' packaging.
  • Frizzle Fry's Star rating varies between sources. The pack-in checklist lists him at 1 Star, while the BotBots website lists him at 2. 1 is more accurate to his actual "rarity", given he's in three different assortments.
