I’m from past the stars and beyond the moon!
The Galax is a small alien plant hailing from the planet Parvus. Like all life on Parvus, it lives underground in caves, however the dangerous conditions on the world have reduced the species to a single specimen. When threatened, the Galax can spray a sticky purple substance that coats its attacker.

[edit]Boulder took the Rescue Bot recruits to Parvus via the space bridge and assigned them the task of rescuing the Galax as the cave it was in had become unstable as the result of some recent quakes. Their initial attempts resulted in Wedge being coated in goo, but they eventually managed to extract the Galax, still stuck on a rock. During their subsequent escape, the Galax actually managed to save itself and Whirl from a rock fall using its spray attack. Back on Earth, the Galax was installed in a terranium where it reproduced and a new Galax started to grow alongside it. Big Small Rescue
The Galax remained in a quarantine area in the Academy until Medix discovered it there while cataloging. After checking for hazardous materials, Medix planted the Galax in the Academy garden, where overnight it grew to tremendous size, sprouting tentacles and becoming extremely possessive of Medix when he came to check on it. The other recruits found out what had happen when the Galax triggered the seismic sensors, and with Medix's help, used water to shrink the Galax back to its original size. They later relocated the plant to the dwarf planet Sedna, where the conditions were more favorable. Little Plot of Horrors
