Gamma ray

There are a wide assortment of lasers, beams and energy types used by the Transformers in their wars against one another. Amongst these are gamma rays. Both Soundwave and Salt-Man X have been known to use gamma rays as weapons.

In one possible scenario, Cosmos spied upon Soundwave and Starscream plotting to overthrow Megatron and taking control of the Decepticons. Soundwave pondered aloud how easy it would be to ambush Megatron and use his gamma ray to stun him as part of the take-over. Earthquake
