[edit]The gas particle bomb appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
As Ultra Magnus ordered the Wreckers to execute what he believed to be a Decepticon spy disguised as Optimus Prime (but was in fact the real deal), Outback approached him and tried to talk him out of it. When that failed spectacularly, Outback deactivated Prime's energy restraints before throwing a gas particle bomb towards the Wreckers, allowing the two of them to escape in the confusion. Under Fire!
