  • Courtesy of penciller Don Figueroa, this unnamed Autobot character is based on the Gats Blocker<ref>The 1980 Diaclone packaging used the English spelling "GATS BLOCKER". Some Western fans interpret the name as "Guts Blocker". Your mileage may vary.</ref> (ガッツブロッカー) toy from the Diaclone line that was never brought over into the 1984 The Transformers toyline. It was, however, released in the United States by Takara itself in the Diakron line as Multi-Force 14 Robot.<ref>Guts Blocker was also released by Grandstand in the United Kingdom in Convertors as Alphatron, by Joustra in France in Diaclone as Multi-Force 14, and by GiG in Italy in Diaclone as Dai-Gats.</ref> The toy itself is black and red, whereas the comic colouration of the Transformer makes him look like Generation 2 Superion.
  • Gats Blocker Autobot's size and era of existence in the comics doesn't make it likely he's a 14-piece combiner. Bugger!
