Geistrom

The ghost-type alien known as Geistrom (ガイシュトロム Gaishutorom) has a deep loathing of machines. As such, he seeks to use his ability to destroy machines by touch and the capability to create a swarm of himself to wipe them out.
Fiction
[edit]G-Shock × Transformers
[edit]In one attempt to pilfer the Chrono Matrix, the Decepticons lured Geistrom to Cybertron, and the alien readily swarmed the planet to rid it of his hated machines. G3 Prime and Master Optimus Prime stepped in to stop the invasion. While repelling the spectral forms with his Gravity Field, G3 Prime brought forth humans from Earth and one used his G-Shock watch to show that cooperation between machines and natural lifeforms was possible. Weakened by this rebuttal to his philosophy, Geistrom was sealed away in a rift in spacetime by G3 Prime, but the protector of time was forced inside the crack as well. Battle of G3 Prime and G-Shock Inside the rift, Geistrom and G3 Prime saw the malicious Dark Spark. To prevent Geistrom from using it to bring forth universal destruction, G3 Prime took the artifact inside himself, releasing a powerful surge of energy that wiped out the Geistrom swarm. Notes
[edit]- "Geistrom" is a portmanteau of the German words Geist ("ghost") and Strom ("flow" or "stream").
- Geistrom's character design is based on Skulk or the generic Infernocon design in The Last Knight. His swarming ability may be a reference of the duplicate Infernocons in the film or an attempt to repurpose the Infernocus set.
