The "giant alien planet" is a desert planet populated by a tribe of large humanoids. It has energon reserves.

[edit]Learning of the planet's energon and other resources, the Decepticons invaded and took some giant aliens as slaves. They set the Predacons, among others, to guard the energon within a cave that their battleship headquarters parked over.
After the apparent failure of the Dimensional Cannon's attack on Earth, Galvatron ordered a retreat to the desert planet to stock up on energon cubes and give the cannon time to recharge. Unbeknownst to him was that Rodimus Convoy Jr. was hiding his ship nearby as to not be spotted. But when the battleship approached the planet, Rodimus Jr.'s ship was dragged by the planet's gravity and crash-landed into a boiling cauldron used by the planet's inhabitants. After the local elder explained the prophecy that Rodimus Jr. would save them from the Decepticons, the Autobot was led to the cavern leading to the Decepticons' base. There, he fought and defeated all of the sentinels the Decepticons left in the cave. Confronting Galvatron in the battleship, Rodimus Convoy Jr. called upon divine power to grow to huge size and sent the Decepticons fleeing off the planet. Rodimus Jr. Does His Part!
