The Goldrush Games is a crazy competition where BotBots from every squad in the mall battle it out to show who is the most mischievous. Part sporting event, part prank war, each squad competes to win the honor of having a golden trophy member of the Winner's Circle join them.

Tribes will compete to prove they're the most mischievous, to try to win one of the gold trophy bots.{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:Goldrush Games Digital Commercial|Goldrush Games Digital Commercial{{#if:|, {{{3}}}|}}|}}

BotBots Mad Libs

[edit]

The words Goldrush Games make BotBots excited as managing to get a Winner's Circle member in your squad is like having a celebrity join you. So far the Science Alliance received Goldface after stealing clothing from the Jock Squad while they showered. The Sugar Shocks managed to score Goldslice after the filled the Fresh Squeezes health-food store with gumballs. Finally the Playroom Posse managed to set the sleeping Movie Moguls adrift on pool floats in a mall fountain. this awarded them the coveted "Goldie-first name"! Goldrush Games

Get Ready, Get Set…

[edit]

Dr. Flaskenstein and Space Case hosted a special BOT NEWS broadcast showing BotBots training at the gym in preparation for the Goldrush Games, interviewing several of the competitors. Events such as a race, melee combat, and wrestling draw large crowds of spectators, all hoping to be a member of the lucky squad to receive one of the gold BotBots. Once the training had competed, the assembled Botbots all proceeded down a brightly lit hallway, presumably ready to compete. Get Ready, Get Set…

The Goldrush Games were the devising of Spud Muffin, in a truly monumental act of spite aimed at Burgertron and the Lost Bots designed to get them all exiled forever. Abducting fellow Hunger Hub Brock O'Lonely, he made him take the guise of the golden trophy-bot "Gamesmaster" and hide in part of the mall's wall, until a party Spud threw "awoke" him. At the totally innocuous and not remotely leading question from Spud Muffin, he explained the notion of the games to the crowd of BotBots. Burgertron was the first to step forward, volunteering the Lost Bots, but the Gamesmaster said that as an unofficial squad the price for losing would be permanent exile. Burgertron still signed the Lost Bots up anyway, despite their reservations about how suspiciously specific this clause was. Seven more squads, the Hunger Hubs included, signed up as well.

The games began, and the Lost Bots managed to eke their way through the first round of games into the second, just barely doing so thanks to some ill-thought-out words from the Gamesmaster that allowed Burgertron to end the event in a tie-win. However, before the second round, he was approached by Spud Muffin, who offered him a chance to come back to the Hunger Hubs, which he took. The Goldrush Games - Part the First In the second round, the Lost Bots continued to dominate despite being a 'bot down, until the last game of a relay race. Dimlit got stuck on the final hurdle, and Burgertron went back to help him. Spud Muffin used this opportunity to shove the Lost Bot down and seize victory, claiming it was legitimately in the rules, and that therefore the Lost Bots were exiled to the Dark Side of the Mall. Burgertron exposed the Gamesmaster as Brock O'Lonely, and that the entirety of the Games had been nothing but a sham. Caught, an increasingly insane Spud admitted it was true, and that even if the Lost Bots had won he would've just exiled Burgertron anyway. His threat was quashed when he failed to notice Dave approach, revealing himself to the guard. Dave then left promising not to tell anyone about the tiny robots, leaving Spud Muffin to face exile for breaking the Sacred Rule of the Mall. The Goldrush Games - Part the Second

Gold Punch, Goldenberry D'uhnut, Goldsferatu, SPF Gold, Goldface, Goldie Rock, and Gold Dexter of the Winner's Circle presented themselves to a group of gathered BotBots. Each of the tribes transformed displaying flags with their tribe's insignia on them. They then started to compete to prove they're the most mischievous. Sensei Spiny struck the first blow by slashing open a carton of orange juice. It spilled all over, causing Arctic Guzzlerush to slip and fall in the puddle. The Winner's Circle members proceed to a display podium, watching the tribes compete. Goldrush Games Digital Commercial

Notes

[edit]
  • Goldrush Games was branded as part of the BotBots logo starting for series with series 4.
  • The Goldrush Games seems to take inspiration from the Olympics, with different groups competing in events to win gold awards showing they are the best in a given event.
    • Additionally, BotBots Series 4 was timed to release before the 2020 Winter Olympics. However due to the global pandemic, this event was delayed until 2021 This resulted in almost all BotBots products no longer being on store shelves when the event happened.
  • Each Winner's Circle member has a specific category of mischief they look to be awarded for:{{ #if: {{#ifexpr: 2 }}
