Grid Alpha is a Maximal designation for an area on Earth during the Beast Wars.

After Grid Orion was searched by Tigatron as the Maximals sought to locate their missing comrades Cheetor, Dinobot, Rattrap, and Rhinox, he moved on to Grid Alpha.

Assuming he had not completed this search and then moved on to yet another area, Alpha is the Grid in which the missing Maximals were found, on the bank of a river. They had washed up there after being knocked down a waterfall by Waspinator, and then managed to defeat both him and Terrorsaur despite having been rendered blind by an earlier energon explosion.
