Half-Track is an Autobot from the Dark of the Moon portion of the movie continuity family.
Let me guess, that's also supposed to be a lunar buggy?

Half-Track is glad to have met his partner Major Altitude, who shares his enthusiasm for deep space research and is also very useful on scientific missions. Together they have made several expeditions to the Earth's moon.

Part of the third wave of Basic-class Dark of the Moon Human Alliance toys, Half-Track is a redeco of Sandstorm, transforming into a one-man assault buggy (in this case, made up to look like a Moon buggy). He also has a "gun platform" mode, which can be used as a hand-held weapon by larger toys thanks to the use of a 5mm post. Both of his alternate modes can be "piloted" by a Human Alliance mini-figure. Half-Track has C joint-compatible bars, and is armed with a gun with a C joint clip.
Half-Track's stock photography depicts white paint apps on the chest plate, which are absent from the final release.

  • The NEST insignia on Half-Track's hood features the Autobot symbol wearing a beret. That's awesome.
  • Despite the name, Half-Track is not a [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}half-track|{{#if:||half-track}}]].
