HarperCollins Publishers is a publishing company owned by News Corp. The company came into being in 1989, when News Corp acquired Scottish firm William Collins, Sons and Co, and merged it with a New York firm, Harper and Row. HarperCollins is one of the largest publishing companies in the world with over 30 imprints. They have released many Transformers books focused on the children and young adult fiction markets.
