Heather Maxwell

Heather A. Maxwell is a storyboard artist and animation director, and was one of the episode directors on Transformers Animated. Compared to previous shows she worked on, there are more robots that turn into cars.

Maxwell didn't have as many Transformers toys as she wanted growing up, but she had a few. She also seems to be a fan of :}}Bizarro|, and apparently wrote an episode of :}}The Ripping Friends|, but we'll try not to hold the latter against her. Much.

I’ve come to expect the fans of the original material to hate the first artwork they see, then slowly come around as the shows air. I think most of them have come around by now—at least my entry in the Transformers wikia seems pretty friendly.

Notes

[edit]
 • Maxwell did the pencils for the original Animated promo poster, with various other Animated staff members inking and coloring it.
 • According to Derrick J. Wyatt, Maxwell actually has a collection of various "evil superhero" shirts beyond the Bizarro one, including one of :}}Reverse Flash|. Wonder if she's managed to pick up that Shattered Glass Optimus Prime shirt from BotCon 2008?
