During the reign of Zeta Prime, Hefter of Uraya was a manual laborer and friend to Tappet. He aspired to be an astrophysicist, but the lingering functionist doctrine dictated that he use his forklift alternate mode to perform manual labor at one of Cybertron's many spaceports. Inspired by their message, Hefter joined the Decepticons and took to graffiting their rhetoric, and was also suspected of being a gunrunner for them. He was soon arrested and placed into police custody, where he mysteriously died was killed by the corrupt officer Outback. Tappet demanded justice for his friend, though Orion Pax's assurances did little to convince him it would happen. Following Hefter's death, a protest erupted outside of police headquarters, asking for justice. Zeta, meanwhile, couldn't even be bothered to remember the guy's name, coldly claiming that "Lifter" had "got what was coming to him", something Pax found disconcerting. Outback later basically admitted to the act and was proud of it, and Orion would have Ratchet look at Hefter's body and confirm that his injuries didn't match the official record, yet another victim of Cybertron's corruption. Even after four million years, Tappet would hold a grudge against "Orion", in part due to the circumstances surrounding Hefter's death. The Death of Optimus Prime
