Events from The Transformers Trilogy novels are in italics.

When the Decepticons devastated Praxus Hardwired 8.7 million years ago, naturally, the Helix Gardens weren't spared.

About 500.000 years later, at the time the old Prime was dead and the new one was to be inaugurated, Transformers: The Ultimate Guide Grimlock called the prominent members of the Autobot army together at the site of the former Helix Gardens. Prowl was distraught about this, not liking the visual reminder of his lost home, but also confused as to why Grimlock wanted to meet there of all places. Grimlock explained the moment he arrived: the site of the former Helix Gardens was a metaphor—the old ways of contemplation and mysticism were gone, and the new Prime better be willing to do what was needed, or he'd stage a coup.
