Help talk:Introduction
I find this rather frustrating...
According to the Help section, I am encouraged to add new content, facts, trivia or links. But when I do, people delete it WITHOUT mentioning it in the talk back and simply tell me to "stop posting."
So, did I miss something? Are we allowed to post ONLY if others like what we post?
I hate wikis.
- Depends what you're posting that people are deleting. Be specific and we might be able to adress your problem. You also should regester and get a user name if you intend to contribute. --ZacWilliam 15:11, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh....I get it now. All those funny image captions aren't some uber-evil vandalism scheme. I was getting ready to go around changing everything. Glad I noticed this page - FinalWish.
About TFWiki
[edit]Why TFWiki.net and not Transformers.wikia.com ? I had hoped to find an explanation here (or at least a link to the right place) about how this site started and what it wants to do differently, rather than just generic instructions about how to use a Wiki.
I see the goofy jokes seem to be one difference for sure. I found an external site claiming TFWiki was setup to avoid certain restrictions of Wikia. If that same information is on this wiki somewhere it would be great if someone could point me to it. It would be great to know what TFWiki wants to be and mistakes to avoid. -- 109.77.111.246 10:58, 19 October 2010 (EDT)

- Perhaps we should have a "History of TFWiki" section on this page? --Tigerpaw28 12:42, 19 October 2010 (EDT)
Thanks. Question answered and now at least anyone with the same questions I had also stands a decent chance of finding this and learning what the split was about. -- 109.76.176.244 00:09, 4 November 2010 (EDT)
