Henri Arkeville is a Decepticon-allied human from the Shattered Glass continuity family.

Professor Henri Arkeville is a scientist and inventor with a trio of interns—Sephie, Rick, and Will—and a strong suspicion of the military. He has a cybernetic arm and eye (and possibly other parts) for unknown reasons. Whether those reasons are related to the reason President Colton is aware of him is also unknown.

He's recently allied himself and his interns to a group of friendly giant robots from outer space.

Great Scott!

Henri Arkeville and his three interns investigated what they believed was a recent meteorite crash in the Arizona desert, taking advantage of the circumstances of the crash disrupting the military's ability to track that it had landed. Upon reaching the site and discovering that the impact had caused a huge mountain avalanche, the four started to dig until Rick noticed that a missile truck and a Cold Slither van were also approaching the site. Arkeville realized by using his infrared vision that the vehicles were unmanned. Before they could decide what to do about the situation, they were suddenly greeted by a large metal cat ell-oh-elling at them. The four ran away in a panic as the cat bounded after them.

The cat led Will and Rick on a merry chase, but Arkeville himself ran into a calmer robot by the name of Frenzy. The human-sized Decepticon defused the situation by explaining why he, the feline Ravage, the "van" Soundwave, and the "missile truck" Heatwave were on the planet, and that the "meteorite" was really their crashed ship, the Nemesis.

After boarding the Nemesis and meeting up with Starscream and Cliffjumper, Arkeville explained to the Decepticons about Earth, including about the United States' paranoid government, and that the reason the Decepticons had been unprepared for Earth's technology level was because the transmissions they had intercepted were decades out of date. When Cliffjumper expressed confusion at California missing from the planet in this universe, Arkeville seemed fascinated that Cliffjumper hailed from another universe, and explained that his own universe had been rather...eventful.

Starscream told them that they needed to find the rest of the evacuated Decepticons and make sure the Autobots hadn't survived, so Arkeville and his interns offered their assistance. Though Starscream was reluctant at first to put the humans in danger, he relented once Arkeville pointed out they were already in danger merely by knowing about the Cybertronians. While his interns went to help the Decepticons conduct their search, Arkeville stayed behind with Starscream to learn more about the Decepticons' technology.

Later, after Rodimus had broadcast his intentions to hold Earth hostage with the Global Orbiting Defense Satellite he had hijacked, Arkeville helped the Decepticons formulate a plan to deal with the matter. Sephie recognized Rodimus had been transmitting from a military base, so Arkeville suggested that Heatwave use his ability to talk with machines and Sephie's oPod (which Sephie volunteered the use of after Arkeville was initially going to manufacture a dial-up modem and radio out of spare parts) to find out which base had been taken over.

Starscream and Arkeville noted from further study of Rodimus's transmission that there likely weren't many Autobots inside the base itself, so they decided to embark on an infiltration of the base. Arkeville remained behind once again to help Starscream with "mission control", while his interns assisted the rest of the Decepticons with the actual mission.

The mission turned out to be successful and resulted in the destruction of the satellite and the base, which caught the attention of President Colton, Vice President Clay, and Secretary Hauser. When Hauser reported that the allies of the Decepticons had been identified as Arkeville's interns, Colton commented that Arkeville would probably be trouble. However, he required merely that an eye be kept on them for now (since he'd had his eye on Arkeville for a long time anyway), as he was more interested in the Autobots. Eye in the Sky

When Will decided to install an oPod into Blitzwing, Arkeville was fascinated by how Cybertronian physiology could seamlessly incorporate the device into Blitzwing's nervous system in a matter of hours. The initial novelty of the discovery took a sinister turn, however, when an accident caused the fused oPod to begin overloading the transmission receptors of every Decepticon within "earshot". Arkeville and Starscream discovered that, if left unchecked, the signal would soon cause lethal damage to all Cybertronians receiving the signal.

While the Decepticons went into emergency stasis lock until the immune Soundwave could find a solution, Arkeville and his interns looked after the Nemesis. When the crazed Beachcomber attacked the base, the humans formulated a plan to delay him until the Decepticons were brought back to combat status. Arkeville started the assault by blinding Beachcomber with a power cell, and his interns finished it with an array of prop-aided assaults, until the newly revived Decepticons were finally able to chase the Autobot off for good. When the Decepticons constructed a stellar spanner from plans stolen from the Autobots, Arkeville was the first to greet Shockwave to Earth. Later, Shockwave was severely injured in an Autobot attack, and Arkeville worked with medics on Cybertron via a two-way link to try and save him. When Sephie wanted to cyborgize herself, she stole some of the professor's research to make it possible. Starscream subsequently believed that he and Arkeville would be able to reverse the process and restore Sephie to her fully human state. Meanwhile, Arkeville eventually managed to restore Shockwave to a mobile condition, with the help of the medics and some scans Starscream had taken of Sephie. Transhuman
