Notes

[edit]
  • The shadowy "Decepticon" was, of course, unidentified in the episode he appeared in; The AllSpark Almanac II would later give the actor a name and backstory, in reference to the 1985 Generation 1 episode "Hoist Goes Hollywood", in which the original Hoist took his shot at being an actor on the big screen. This has caused some minor debate among Animated fans as to whether this "counts" as Hoist due to looking nothing like past incarnations, and not being an idea from the show team. Truth be told, there's no firm evidence to suggest that this isn't a costume or makeup worn by a more traditional-looking Hoist, but in the absence of any other official designs, it's all we've got.
